Earn income while looking for work - #1

This is the first of these posts....

When someone is out of work, their primary job is to find a job.  But, a corresponding effort is to produce enough income during that job gap to survive, pay the existing bills, and to not fall too far behind on obligations.  Like it or not, serious shortfalls can affect credit scores, and credit scores can affect job opportunities.

McCrabby wants to provide some suggestions of ways to supplement your income while you look for your dream job.  He is searching for opportunities, whether they're on-line, part-time, MLM, or any other way to generate income for people who have had problems generating income for some time.

So, if you have some, please send them (EMAIL McCrabby), so they can be vetted.  McCrabby wants to do some checking to determine (within reason) the viability of the opportunities.  If they look good, they'll be detailed here.

There are a lot of job-scams out there, but there are some legitimate methods to earn extra  income; they may not be a fit for everyone, or even for most, but here's hoping readers will share some ideas, and that McCrabby can share with readers.

So, here is the first one.  This one doesn't need to be vetted, because it's McCrabby's own company, Curtis Funding Group (CFG).  This company provides funding for companies and municipalities to acquire the equipment they need to do the business they need to do.  Business is improving for this new venture (although we've done this kind of work for 20 years), but the CFG staff is not aware of every company or municipality that needs money to acquire equipment.

So, Curtis Funding is doing two things:

  • We are selectively seeking 2-5 more honest, hard-working people who can sell (relationship selling) to executives, and who understand the concept of providing this kind of service in a business-like and ethical manner.  It's a commission-only, contract job, but there is a very aggressive commission plan in place (starting at 55% of fees earned), and it's a job that can be done from a home-based business, in almost any U.S. location.  If you have an interest in finding out more, please send a resume to (click here:  CMacRae).
  •
  • Without making the jump above, and since a major part of the job involves "finding the business," we're searching for people to provide knowledge of companies or municipalities that need equipment financed.  If they simply let CFG folks know of a need and CFG then does the work to generate a sale, CFG will provide a spiff (salesman's term for kickback) of 10 per cent of the total fees earned.
While equipment leases range from $5,000 to several million dollars, a typical $50,000 lease,  usually earns a fee in the $800-$2,500 range, so commissions, or even spiffs, can be substantial.

If you're interested in either of the above, let us know.  If you have opportunities that you believe we should share, please let us know that, too.

It's still a tough jobs market, no matter what the press says, so let's help each other.

Good luck to all of you.
