Thanks to the readers of this blog, who have flattered this writer and asked to connect on LinkedIn, McCrabby (aka: Curt) is now a LinkedIn LION.
This new honor was not sought. No one here set a goal of LION-status. In fact, many previous LinkedIn contacts, that were not well known, have been removed in the past, keeping a connection list of less than 500 (the LION level). The thinking was always that networking should be limited to well-known contacts.
However, with increased business exposure from starting a new company (Curtis Funding Group) a year ago, and with requests to connect by readers here (connections are accepted from anyone who says they read this blog - flattery gets you connected), the LION threshold was surpassed. Please hold your applause.
LION stands for Linked In Open Networker, and basically means a member has more than 500 connections. Wow!! McCrabby doesn't even think that he knows 500 people, but he sure appreciates that so many want to be connected to him. He's not sure why.
So, this "honor" is humbly accepted with the hope that McCrabby is worthy of the praise and status that is certain to accompany it.
